On
Wednesday, March 18 at 3:15 PM, the new AISW Galleria was opened with an
exhibition called “Elham (in English, Inspiration)”. This gallery space is a very exciting
venture for the Art Department and our school community! To open the Galleria,
we held an exhibit which showcased the work of a variety of artists and
photographers on our school staff. The event lived up to the exhibition's
name, and was inspiring for all. Dr. Walther Hetzer shared his excitement and vision
for our new Galleria, including that he hopes that it will aid in keeping the
arts as one of the signature elements of our school. With so much talent among
our staff and students, that vision will not be hard to maintain!

The “Elham/
Inspiration” exhibition remains open until April 15th. If you
weren’t able to attend the opening, you are welcome to stop by! The Galleria is
located next to Ms. Barbara’s room (235) on the 2nd floor.
